Soundwaves Fundraiser Brings X-Factor Star to Pacifica

Fresh off his star-making stint on Fox's hit TV show The X-Factor, Austin Corini will premiere his brand-new single during a private TV performance — and you're invited.

Breakout star Austin Corini, fresh off his star-making stint on Fox's hit TV show The X-Factor, will perform for a very exclusive crowd tomorrow, Saturday, Nov. 3, at the Pacific Coast Television studio in Pacifica.

Corini will premiere his brand-new single during a private TV performance for the first round of tapings for the 23rd edition of Soundwaves Christmas, an annual televised music-themed fundraiser that collects food, clothing, toys, and money for local families and non-profit agencies.

Fans have a chance at being part of the live studio audience to watch Corini perform by RSVPing for the event and bringing a new toy as a donation in exchange for being admitted to the audience to watch him perform. To be the first 50 to RSVP and get on the list to meet Corini, e-mail soundwavesTV@gmail.com.

In his role of Producer, KGO radio personality Dennis Willis is thrilled to welcome Corini, 16, back to the Soundwaves stage.

"Austin's first TV appearance was on last year's Christmas show. He was part of a short-lived rock band, but there was no question. The kid was going to be a huge star!" Willis said.

The show will air in Dec. 15 on a number of Bay Area cable stations in San Mateo County, Santa Clara County, Santa Cruz County and Contra Costa County.

Corini was recently released from The X-Factor, even after being paired with four other contestants into a group called Playback. At this point, it is uncertain if the Simon Cowell-produced show will invite Corini back for the live rounds, but anything is possible. Since his appearance on the show, Corini's music videos, produced by Soundwaves Christmas co-producer Robert Krueger have been very popular on YouTube and Facebook.

Fans interested in being part of the live studio audience to watch Corini perform as well as a meet and greet opportunity must RSVP for the event and bring a new toy as a donation to be admitted to the audience to watch him perform. For details, visit SoundwavesChristmas.com.
