Show Pride for Our Beaches and Clean Up This July Fourth

Join a Pacifica Beach Coalition beach cleanup this July Fourth weekend because 'pollution prevention is patriotic.'

The Pacifica Beach Coalition (PBC) is inviting everyone to Linda Mar Beach on Thursday, July 4, from 6 to 8 p.m. and at every beach (Linda Mar State, Rockaway, Sharp Park, and Esplanade beaches) in Pacifica on Friday, July 5, from 7:30 to 10 a.m. for a "Star Spangled Beach Cleanup."

"
Pollution prevention is patriotic," says PBC president Lynn Adams. "Show pride for your favorite beach and leave no trash behind on July 4th."

If you are interested in volunteering on July 4, meet at the sea wall at Taco Bell.

Also, the Pacifica Beach Coalition volunteers will be doing outreach efforts at Linda Mar State Beach on July 4. Contact juliebw2@gmail.com if you are interested in helping.

Bring your own bags for the Esplanade Beach clean up on July 5 and the Sharp Park Beach clean up will be from 9 to 11 a.m.
