Why Go:  Sherlock Holmes pursues first the case, and then the affections of Miss Adler and in doing so, marches right into the lair of his longtime adversary.

 PEPI'S PIZZA AND PASTA

Where/When: 745 Hickey Blvd.  Open Sat 11 a.m.-10 p.m. and Sun 12-9 p.m.

Why Go: This is a great kid-friendly restaurant to take the whole family for a casual night out.

Where/When: Rockaway Beach Ave.

Why Go: Enjoy a day at the beach with the whole family.

Where/When: Highway 1 on April 17 from 1–3 p.m.

Why Go: Tours of Pescadero marsh give you the opportunity to explore the plant and wildlife in this popular area.  Tours last about two hours. Dress in layers, bring binoculars and water, and wear a hat.

Why Go: Stop by for help for new knitters or comraderie for experienced ones.

A great event for kids of all ages (that includes the "grownup" kids)...
The Pacifica Beach Coalition's Earth Day Action and Celebration! Action - 9:00am - 11:30am throughout Pacifica Celebration -- 11:30am - 3:30pm Pacifica State Beach south parking lot Make an impact on our precious coastal environment. Clean-up at beaches, bluffs, & neighborhood streets; habitat restoration; invasive plant removal; and, beautification projects throughout the area. Check out the Google Map at www.pacificabeachcoalition.org. Everyone is invited to CELEBRATE! Activities include: Pilates on the Beach (Noon – 12:30 hosted by Ocean Yoga), Chair Massage ($1/minute donations go to PBC); Knock Down Litter Bowling, face painting, seed planting, local singer songwriter Linda Tringali hosting a family area, and Segway demonstrations (adults). Support local organizations --The Marine Mammal Center, CA Gray Whale Coalition, Sierra Club Loma Prieta Chapter, Pacifica’s Environmental Family, Pacifica Gardens (with a sunflower seed giveaway), Pacifica Shorebird Alliance, Pacifica Garden Club (hosting a children’s seed planting event), Master Composters & Gardeners, Pacifica Resource Center (bring nonperishable food to donate), Pacifica School Volunteers (do a little spring cleaning and donate books your children have outgrown; PSV will also host a table of books from our local book store - Florey’s Books), EcoDog/SFDog, POOCH, Cabrillo School (plant sale).

The Pacifica Chamber of Commerce says that "the only person that might is John the Sign Guy.Read More 650.369.1626. Other than that, the Dollar Store in Linda Mar is looking into getting some Pacifica souvenirs. Maybe she’ll order some bumper stickers."

Don't forget to put up posters at the local pet stores, veterinary hospitals, groomers, etc. LostRead More pets are brought into our hospital all the time. Also, be sure to check with the Peninsula Humane Society daily, in case he was picked up and taken there. Good luck finding kitty!
