Pacifica Suffers Largest Bay Area Power Outage
Power is estimated to come back on by 1 p.m. today.

All power has been restored to customers in Pacifica as of 1:08 p.m. Wednesday, according to Monica Tell, a PG&E spokeswoman in the Bay Area.

A downed wire at Carmel and Palmetto avenues left 1,120 customers in Pacifica without power at about 9:15 a.m., a PG&E spokesman said.
As of 10:20 a.m., all but 635 of those customers had their power back, he said. Power was expected to be fully restored by 1 p.m.

General areas impacted are as follows:
- Carmel and Palmetto Avenues left 1,120 customers without power at about 9:15 a.m.
- Area from Adobe North to Pacifica between Cabrillo Elementary School and Pedro Way and Edgemar
- Area from Crespi Drive north to Manor between Pacific Ocean and Skyline
PG&E crews are working as safely and quickly as possible to get customers back on, said Monica Tell, a PG&E spokeswoman in the Bay Area.
Power restoration is estimated for 1 p.m. today.
