It's Young Ocean Stewards Night at Surf Spot
Two special guests, Chris Pincetich of the Sea Turtle Restoration Project and Lincoln Shaw of Animal Planet's "Whale Wars," will be in attendance.
Kids 18 and under are invited to Surf Spot Thursday, Sept. 26, from 6 to 8 p.m. to meet Chris Pincetich of the Sea Turtle Restoration Project and Lincoln Shaw of Animal Planet's "Whale Wars" to learn more about what they can do to help our oceans and the amazing animals that live there.
Look for the Pacifica Beach Coalition sign in the outdoor area of Surf Spot.
Students are eligible to enter a raffle to win prizes, including two tickets to the California Academy of Sciences or a model of the ship used in Animal Planet's "Whale Wars." You must be present to win. The drawing for the tickets and ship model will be held at 7 p.m.
Surf Spot is located at 4627 Pacific Coast Highway in Pacifica.
