Wake up and smell the coffee!
National Coffee Day is Sunday, Sept. 29. If you’re dragging a bit, you can get a free cup at Starbucks in Pacifica.
Starbucks is offering free samples of their new Ethiopia coffee on Sept. 29, according to the Starbucks website. Those who purchase a bag of the Ethiopia coffee that day will receive commemorative Ethiopia tasting cup.

The National Coffee Association says 83 percent of Americans have had a cup of coffee in the past year.
While there are some health concerns about over-consumption of caffeine, “for most people the health benefits [of consuming coffee] outweigh the risks,” according to the Mayo Clinic.
