VOTE NO PACIFICA PHONE TAX
We are fighting to defeat measure V in Pacifica California. This unfair measure would levy a 6.5% tax on all telecommunications and would cost citizens and businesses hundreds of additional dollars per year.
The City of Pacifica has a 1.5 million dollar surplus. There is no reason to tax the poor more.
The City say this tax will go to help the poor, seniors, fire and police. But the fact is the money from this tax will go into the general fund where it can be spent on anything they like.
