She Won! Congratulations to Pacifica Beach Coalition President Lynn Adams

Pacifica Beach Coalition president Lynn Adams won the Cox Conserves Heroes (CCH) Award.

Now the Pacifica Beach Coalition will receive $10K for Earth Day 2014 activities and to clean up Pacifica's beloved beaches!

Tom Webber of 4H Million Trees, a community service project conceived by a member of the Pacifica, California 4-H Club, nominated Adams for the Cox Conserves Hero Award, an awards program created by Cox Enterprises and The Trust for Public Land (TPL) that honors volunteers who create, preserve or enhance the shared outdoor places in our communities.

"It was truly an amazing evening, a big win for Pacifica and all the community has done for the environment by picking up trash, gardening and restoring habitat, the Pacifica Beach Coalition, Volunteers, Schools, and the environment," said Adams. "With all of my heart I thank you for your votes, for your participation and volunteerism, and for all of your support for the ocean and a better, cleaner world."
