Update, Aug. 21, 2012:
A few short hours after Pacifica Patch featured this announcement yesterday about Samson — a black cat that had gone missing since July — his owners were contacted by their neighbors. He had been living just a few blocks away for weeks. Samson has been found!
We've update the story in the comments stream below.
Original post:
Please help find Samson. He's been lost since July 9, 2012, and was last scene in the Linda Mar area near Balboa/Arguello streets.
We've been looking for him every day with no luck.
He is a black male short-haired cat. He is 11 months old and has a little white under his neck and belly.
Samson is super friendly and will go to just about anyone. None of our neighbors have seen him which is odd, and our flyers haven't turned anything up.
We believe he may have been taken out of the area but we keep holding out hope. We have checked with the SPCA and his vet.
If you do see him, please email arotz@pacbell.net with any information. His family at home misses him.
