“People keep comparing him to other artists, but I think he just sounds like Curt Yagi, and that is plenty good enough," veteran music journalist Ben Fong-Torres, a former Rolling Stone magazine senior editor said in a statement Yagi released to the media earlier this week.

"This is one excellent singer and songwriter.”

Yagi has released two full-length CD's.

His most recent album, "Close My Eyes," released in 2011, features nine original tracks. His debut, "What's Come Over Me," came out in 2007.
