A Candid Interview With City Councilmember Len Stone

Stone talks about the city's financial situation, its lack of good "PR" and his experience so far on the city council

Len Stone, a local Farmers Insurance agent and newest member of the Pacifica City Council, sat down with Patch recently and shared his views on the city's five-year plan to end its deficit, the new taxes its been rolling out and its lack of good "PR" and transparency in the past.

Stone said he's been constantly evaluating the city's finances as numbers have become available before supporting new taxes (he recently told Patch that he's supporting the new ). He also hopes to make Pacifica's government more transparent and revamp the ways it communicates with its residents about what it does and why.
